Attempting to search the best definition of a technology is not an easy task. One book may bring different definition to another. Prior to reaching my own definition, I attempted the Wiki Encylopedia definition. It outlines briefly the general definition and illustrated generally on its history, deployment, technology trend, commercial success, investment effort, standards, quality, regulation and some general global perspectives.
