Read cursorily the slides presentation from the Berlin Privacy Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Dr. Alexander Lix emphasized on transparency, profiling, standard and need for regulation. In the event the latter materialises, Office of Communications (OFCOM), UK should reconsider whether the steps to deregulation RFID will give challenge to the industry. The summary of his presentation was lucid - by saying that every key players should be able to mitigate privacy as a "concern" - and then RFID technology and privacy will not be labelled as "antagonism".
