RFID presentation in BILETA 2008

Ideally, the conference governor of BILETA 2008, has accepted my proposed RFID presentation. They will upload the accepted abstract soon. I will start writing and burning the midnight oil and be an 'owl'. Besides, a colleague of mine from Greece has favoured me to consider a publication for his editorial board (e-journal). I am wondering whether my LLM dissertation fits the bill as it is purely on UK and the EU. Or else, I would contribute an article for the next publication on June 2008. Will update in detail later. On a different development, this Institute in Malaysia, has practically deployed RFID. Read and digest. Wondering how would they control the data internally from privacy invasion?

RFID and library

Sorry for the very long gap and inconsollable absence, as I have been pretty much involved in many R&D discussions lately. Amongst others, are on RFID middleware for the libraries. There are positive moves being led by some of our key people. Industry linkage between the business and universities has also been the central theme of discussion. Many checklist items to strategise and brainstorm. Some useful information on RFID and library in China here. This country is gearing very fast, tenaciously and adamantly. Malaysia nees to catch up. My pick on RFID and library: a phenomenal and promising yet sustainable business (if the partnering and business module is fairly integrated and viable).
