Stumbled across these articles:http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/Ecommerce/rfid/
The developer, Sun, has given the bird's eye view of RFID, which will evolvingly substitute the powerful role of internet (to a certain extend). Digital World Magazine has also mentioned the similar notion here: http://magazine.digitalidworld.com/Nov03/Page66.pdf. Interestingly, a supply chain project has interlinked RFID with the Internet: http://www.foodproductiondaily.com/news/ng.asp?n=62116-rfid-epcglobal-fresh-produce (I wonder how effective it is)

RFID Conference in Berlin
This upcoming conference on 25th and 26th June will provide some political roadmap guidance on RFID: the internet of things:-http://www.nextgenerationmedia.de/Nextgenerationmedia/Navigation/en/rfid-conference.html. It is hoped that it would open a wider consultative session for the EU RFID policy making.
RFID policy in Malaysia soon?
In Malaysia, I have had very interesting research discussion and exchange of opinion on RFID. Rumours claimed that Malaysia is following tenaciously the EU RFID development. And perhaps, similar approach would have been brainstormed for future RFID policy making. I think, I should start the ball rolling.
